Harry Potter From the story Harry Potter

Harry Potter goes to hogworts. His parents have died and he lives with his cousin,Aunty and uncle. He did not know that he was famous at first. He has a pet called Hedwig he is a snow owl. Harry Potter has three friends called Ronald and Hermione, his house is called Griffindore. When he grows older he marries Ronald's sister Ginny. When his god father goes he gets a firebolt.

Athletics Day

On Thursday it was Athletics Day and we had to go the Stadium because the normal place was having exams. They had long jump and high jump. Shot put and fox tail. vortex and disc isc. Before we started there was some announcements. Mrs Wallbank lead us to high jump that was the first one for my group. Mrs Cato was in charge. I got into the finals of the high high jump. In the end I did not win. Later on we went to the next activity it was disc isc. We were second to last I came nothing in that.  Soon after that we went across to shot put I also got into the finals. Later on we went to have morning tea my mum packed two chocolate for me. I ate one of them and saved the other for lunch time. After that we went to the next activity we did running with Mr Volshenk. I came third in all of my races. We did the rest of the activity's and my mum told me that I had come third in long jump. She knew this because she was helping. me length was 3.70 meters. My mum went to the loo and when she came back we went and decided to sneak on her and it worked. Anika and I had so much fun.

Darth's Big Dream

Darth Vader was a dreamer. He dreamed when he was making a plan to get the rebels once and for all. His biggest dream was that someday he would make a car that wouldn't flout. He had tried a million times but it somehow it flouted all the time. He was confused why it would flout. He was silly he didn't that there was no gravity in space where he tried the car to see if it could go.

Then one day he was in the spaceship and it worked. He  was so happy that they held a party and they lived happily ever after (and in the end they did not stop the rebels but the rebels stopped them) Owwww man.

My Holiday

In my holidays my mum said that we were going to the swimming pool to meet with a friend of hers. So in the morning we got ready to go and meet my mums friends daughters. One is nearly twelve her name is Emily and one is thirteen she is called Zara. We had got there first and I wanted to go on the hydroslide so I got a band to go on (it was pink yuck). They had got a band to then we went on it my sister so she could go down with us and that we could have company. Then after all the fun we got changed and said goodbye and went back to my Nan and Grandads.

Highlights For Term 3

My favourite part of this term is when we had the Marist Colts visited our school. When they were here we played games and some of the children and the staff had a turn where some of them lifted the people up and they had to try and catch the rugby ball. My other favourite part of this term is when the steamers came they talked a bit about them self and we got to ask questions.

Golden Time

Last Friday was P.J Party for Golden Time. We had to bring our P.J's to school for the afternoon. I was in a rush this morning that I forgot my pyjamas on the way. So I had to wear my school uniform instead. At a time in the day we had to make cups to hold the surprise that we were going to have. Then after a long time it was Golden Time and we found out what the surprise was it was popcorn and chocolate. We had a lot of fun we even got to dance with our food. Then sadly we had to go to assembly.

Marist Colts Visit

On Friday the Marist Colts from all over N.Z came to st Mary's school Rotorua. We went to the hall to do a Powhiri to welcome the Marist Colts players. We sung and did the school haka and on the second haka the rugby leaders came ford with Mr MacMallian

and two other children. Then this dude stood up and said some stuff about him and the others that were there. Then someone asked us what is one our values and so we said some of them and that person got on person each time, to say something about that value. Soon after that they got some people from the huge school crowd to do the lineout and some teachers. We then went outside to play some games we played seaweed and get that guy the school bell rang and me and isabella went to play on the playground and watched the people get the rugby leaders.

Instructions on how to wash your hands.

What you will need:
 A sink with cold and hot taps
plug
soap
towel


Steps:


1.  Put the plug in its little hole in the sink.

2. Turn the taps on and let the water fall to 1/2 in the sink.

3. Push the soap dispenser two times and let it land on your hand.

4.Rub it on your hands and rinse it off.

5. Then get a towel or paper towel or an electric hand dryer to dry your hands.

6. Then walk away happily and tell everyone that you are the best because you washed your hands.

Mary Mackillop Feast Day

On Friday was Mary Mackillop day it was also a shared lunch for some of the classes like room 15. First thing when the second bell went we called the roll then we went to church for the mass there was a skip at the end of the mass and Ashton and I were in the skip. Next we came back to class to do some Math Whizz because this was like the only learning that we would do all day. Soon after that it was time for morning tea playtime and we ran out to play busted o the middle playground. We play for about half an hour then we went to go and eat our food. After Mrs Wallbank told us what each class was doing for Mary Mackillop Feast Day. Then Mrs Wallbank let us go me and Anika,me and Jasmine had already chosen where we were going we went to room 13 to make a chatter box. Next we went to make a bookmark with Mrs bye she showed us what to do so I wanted to go to the next one so I did it. Then I went to the skipping. next I went to do Mary Mackillop quotes. the  bell went and we had shared lunch it was fun I can't wait.

My Holidays

In the holidays I went to Hamilton to see my cousins. We had to go to Hamilton because my flight to Auckland got cancelled. When we got there we went to meet my cousins and Aunty and Nana at the playground,it was very busy and we couldn't see them. It was also very hard to find a car park. We found a car park and mum asked if we would like our coats but we weren't cold even though it was windy at the playground as soon as we got out of the car to play my sister asked "can we go to play now" and mum said "yes". We ran to the park and we started to run and play. Then my mum called my Nana,Poppa and my Aunty and cousins to see were they were and then one minute later they were right behind me and they yelled"Abigail!!!!!" then there was lots of hugging and kissing we were talking about lunch,Nana said that she had brought a picnic so they went to go and get the picnic while we went to get some drinks. Charlotte and I got lemonade,my cousins got different flavoured milk. We found a spot to sit and we got the picnic out and started to eat, it was delicious. then after we had a big play and said goodbye and then I went to Auckland.

Highlights For Term 2

My highlights for term 2 was when Hunter Valley Grammar school came and performed in front of the whole school!!!!!!!!!!! They were a very talented band and they had lots of different instruments  and lots of people playing those instruments. My favourite was the obow it was soft relaxing and made me sleepy.

Water Sustainability.

Visit To Room 2 And Room 3.

Yesterday in the afternoon room 15 and I went to visit room two and room three to learn more about sustainability. At 2.15 we went to room two we walked from our classroom all the way through school fora and to room two. We had to wait for about 2 or 3 minutes before Mrs Nelson said we could come. Room two was playing board games. I was in Anika,Jade,A teenage girl we had to play a game like snakes and ladders and this is how you play. step one you choose your person and place it on the board,step two you do paper,scissors,rock the person who wins gets to start Jade won so she got to start then I did then Anika then the teenage girl,step three you roll the dice then you get a question about a certain topic sustainability,step four if you get the question right then you get to move as many spaces as you rolled the dice and if you get it wrong you don't move at all. Then we got into the middle of the game then we had to leave to go to room two to go to room 3.So we went to line up and walked over to room three and room 3 didn't have board games they had inventions they had information. The first thing that I was interested in was the first thing I saw and that was a cat. Danni's brother Jesse talked to us about the cat to us the cat and how it worked,Then me and Anika walked to a different thing in the room we saw the micro bead collector, a rubbish sea collector and other things. Then I went to read some information before we had to go to back to class and tidy up before home time and so then  we went back to class and tidied up and then went home.

Highlight of term 1 2017.

My highlights of term 1 is the gala because Me and Anika met and we had all the fun by our self. we did these things we went twice on the bouncy castle and we got some fry's and a drink,we drought some fudge. Then we watched some things.


The next highlight is playing with my friends. I like to play with my friends because they are nice and kind to me and like what

Maths Whizz Lessons.

The House on Maple Street.

                                   

A long time ago there lived two very good children named Aaron and Lucy. They lived next door to a robber called Hell. Lucy and Aaron had a dog that was called Truffle. After Lucy and Aaron take Truffle for his evening walk. They always got tired and always wanted to go to bed. One day they were taking Truffle for a walk they were really tired they could barely even walk up the stairs. When it got into the middle of the night the robber Hell was at his house trying to discise himself and he was having a lot of trouble finding one that wasn't easy to fool Aaron and Lucy. When he tried all of his costumes he nearly used all the rest of his money on other costumes but he still had about 999,999,999,999 dollars left. Once he had got all of the things he needed he just his costume he had only then and only then he forgot that they had magic powers so that could hear anything that he did. So then he set off tho get some money and did I mentchinet that he only goes out at the time midnight. Hell set off and forgeting all the things here are some of the things he forgot the spell that was on his house, he forgot as I said that Lucy Aaron had magic powers. He had entered the house very silently and then the floor went CREEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK. Then suddenly Lucy and Aaron woke up and got their speishel suits on and ran out of their rooms to see what was going on they saw Hell and then they grabbed him. They took Hell back to his house and threw him into the door and locked the door on him and said the magic words" blah do my tie dododo" and the house fired into space and Hell was never seen again and everyone was happy and the people had a fair share of the money and everyone lived happyely ever after. bye bye.

Matariki.

In the morning Mrs Steers and her class came and taught room 15 and 14 more about Matariki. They wanted us in groups so Mrs Wallbank (our teacher) got us into 3 different groups I was with Anika and loraine. The people who came to teach About Matariki told us about tthe tale of Matariki and I can remeber one of the names of the stars it was Matariki. After the tale we did some art we were supposed to dye the piece of paper after when we had drawn the stars but we didn't so I threw mine in the bin and so did Anika.

My Holiday

In the holidays Isabella came to my house for a play date and her sister came her name was Kendall. When the Judds came over me and Isabella went outside to plan the best thing ever. The best thing ever was the obstacle course!! Here are the parts of the obstacle course. First catch the ball. Two walk the plank. Three climb over the bike.Four jump on the tramp ten times. Five put the dirty bucket on their heads.Six walk with the cricket wickets. Seven run around in circles five times.Eight swing the swing around and the other person run to them. They had to do it twice While we were making it we had a cookie . After the Judds had to go and we said goodbye.

Easter.

I like Easter because Easter bunny comes and gives you Easter eggs. Last year when I did Easter we did a normal Easter egg hunt at home and I found most of them but I had to let my sister Charlotte get some to. My favourite chocolate egg is uh caramel yep caramel. We celebrate Easter to remember that Christ has risen from the death and when Jesus went to Haven with his farther. When we eat an Easter egg we remember what Jesus did for us.
