Grandparents Day

On Friday was grandparents day a day that your grandparents come to school.First we went to the church and had a mass. After the mass we went out of the car park and some grandparents were there to pick up there grand kids.  Everyone with a grandparent(that wasn't going to a brother or sister's class) would return with their grandparent to have a shared morning tea. Me and Jaime unpacked the shared morning tea and then everyone was eating when we were running out of food Me and Anika went to our sister and cousins room and stole some food. When the bell rang the people doing a performance would go to the teacher running it so they could get ready while everyone else went out to play.Instead Anika and I stayed to tidy up the classroom until it was neat and tidy. The bell rang and we went to the hall. In the performances there was the choir,Kapa Haka,Pasifaka, marimba, the philipino group, gymnastics and R2 dance. At the end the grandparents were thanked for coming and they left the school. All the students went out to play. After we came back to the classes and ate because we had relays from athletics day. Before that we had the reading log draw and I went up and got a chocolate bar from the prize table. I thought that I might be in the relays but no. The last relay it was teacher and house leaders from  your house and my team Mill Hill won that relay and we had the most points so Mill Hill was first.
